Hound of Wor is an independent sci-fi / fantasy comic book written and illustrated by Ian Kocan. The comic follows the tale of a unfortunate mutt who unwillingly undergoes an advanced war simulator and partakes in countess conflicts, fighting, killing and even dying, for what seems to be several lifetimes, however in reality it is a brief moment. The shock of the simulation is so great it kills the poor pooch but only after the dogs mind produces a powerful chemical, which is then extracted to fuel a giant machine that scour the untamed lands in a destructive cycle of energy harvesting. However for one beast the process does not kill but rather it survives and acquires the fighting skills of the warriors lives of which it experienced making the dog the ultimate fighting machine! |
